What is Communities In Schools?

Through Communities In Schools (CIS), AFMC places site coordinators inside schools to connect students with resources that help them succeed—whether they need academic support, mental health care, or basic necessities. Our model is built on relationships, tailored support, and long-term student outcomes.

In partnership with AFMC, CIS is expanding its impact in Arkansas by serving more schools, supporting more students, parents, and families, and strengthening our communities.
